The Cook Medical Beat the Heat 5K is a long-running evening 5K (3.1 miles) in Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, on July 17, 2027, known for its lively atmosphere and community spirit. The Family Fun Run (0.9 miles) starts at 6:00 p.m., the 5K walk at 6:15 p.m. and the 5K run at 6:30 p.m.
