The Conquer the Canal Marathon takes place in Delaware City, Delaware, in late May. The marathon (26.2 miles) starts at 7:00 a.m., the half marathon (13.1 miles) at 7:30 a.m., the 10K at 8:00 a.m., The Headwind Hustle 5K at 9:00 a.m. and The Jackson 5K at 10:00 a.m.

The race begins on the Michael Castle Trail and its routes extend into Maryland before returning to the finish.
