The Coffee Lovers - Chicago race takes place in Chicago, Illinois, in early April, with three distances to pick from: a 5K (3.1 miles), a 10K (6.2 miles) and a half marathon (13.1 miles). The courses run through the streets of the city and pass through several of its well-known neighborhoods. Spring weather in Chicago can swing quickly, so check the forecast the night before and dress for the temperature you will have once you are warmed up. If you are in town for the weekend, Millennium Park and its Bean sculpture, an architecture cruise on the Chicago River and Oak Park, home to Frank Lloyd Wright's house and studio, are all within reach.
