The CoastalLIFE 5K Run/Walk, organized by NS PROMOS/Run Myrtle Beach, takes place at Coastal Carolina University in Conway on March 28, 2027. The program includes a 5K at 8 a.m., a 1-mile fun run/walk at 8:10 a.m. and the Run with Chauncey Kids' Dash at 9:10 a.m., plus a virtual 5K option.

The event supports CoastalLIFE, a program for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities that offers academic, career and independent-living opportunities. Every participant receives a shirt, a medal and a race bib. Overall and age-group awards are presented in the 5K. The event puts the emphasis on inclusion and community engagement.
