Clowne Half Marathon

The Clowne Half Marathon is a popular end-of-season race in Derbyshire, organised by Clowne Road Runners and held on 22 November 2026, with the half marathon starting at 09:00 and a 1-mile fun run at 09:30. Starting from The Arc in Clowne town centre and finishing at Clowne Community Centre, the 21.1 km course follows a hilly route through the surrounding villages before returning to town.

The race combines a friendly community atmosphere with professional organisation, including chip timing, secure baggage transfer from start to finish and strong local support. Every year, all finishers receive a distinctive hoodie, the event's trademark. With part of the entry fees going to Ashgate Hospice, the race also has a strong charitable side, making it a fixture for club runners and for those tackling their first half marathon.
