About

The Clear Lake Freedom 5K presented by Kingland invites runners of all ages to a festive Independence Day race in Clear Lake on July 4, 2027. The 5K (3.1 miles) starts at 7:30 a.m. on an out-and-back course with great scenery, preceded at 7:00 a.m. by the CL Tel Kids Fun Run (0.5 miles).

Awards go to the first men and women across the line, along with age-group medals. The kids' fun run gives young runners a race experience of their own, and every child receives a medal at the finish. A parade follows the race's closing ceremony.
