The City of Trees Marathon & Half Marathon in Boise offers a marathon (26.2 miles / 42.2 km) at 8:00 a.m., a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) at 8:30 a.m., and a 10K and 5K at 9:00 a.m. on October 10, 2027. The races run along the Boise Greenbelt trail system, where you may come across the unexpected, such as construction, wasp nests or flooding, and encounter wildlife.

The event highlights the unique experience of running in nature, but participants should be prepared for possible delays or route changes. All participants receive a prize at the finish, and early registrants get a small extra gift. T-shirts cannot be guaranteed for those who register after the deadline.
