Churchill's Half Marathon

Churchill's Half Marathon is run in Perrysburg, Ohio, on November 14, 2026. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 8:30 a.m. and the 5K at 9. The course links Perrysburg, Waterville and Maumee, offers views along the Maumee River and finishes at The Shops at Fallen Timbers. Virtual entry is available for both races.

One detail should shape your preparation: there is a hard climb near the end. Put hills into the final third of your long runs rather than the first, so your legs learn to hold form when they are already tired, and hold something back over the flat early miles. A 12-week build with a weekly long run covers the distance itself.
