The Children’s Recovery Center 5K Run/Walk, also known as Run for Hope, takes place in Murrells Inlet on August 21, 2027, with a 1-mile run/walk at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K (3.1 miles) at 8:00 a.m.

The event supports the Children’s Recovery Center (CRC), a nonprofit that provides medical and forensic evaluations, counseling and advocacy for abused children in Horry and Georgetown counties. Proceeds help fund its services.
