The Chafed + Confused 5K / 10K offers a 10K (6.2 miles) and a 5K (3.1 miles) in downtown Gladstone, Michigan, on a waterfront course with a laid-back atmosphere. On August 15, 2027, the Confused 10K starts at 10:00 a.m. and the Chafed 5K at 10:15 a.m.

Fun costumes are encouraged, and runners of all levels are welcome. The event supports the Gladstone girls' volleyball program. Every participant receives an event T-shirt and a finisher medal, with a chance to win giveaways from local businesses, plus age-group awards.
