About

The Catch-A-Pig 5K & 1K Bacon Stroll is a 5K (3.1-mile) race in Bel Air, Harford County, Maryland, on an out-and-back course along the scenic Ma & Pa Trail. It takes place on August 15, 2027, at 8:00 a.m., with a dog walk and a 1-mile walk alongside the race.

Participants can choose a competitive race or a family stroll. Kids, known as piglets, get a head start, and adult runners try to catch them to win prizes, while a group of big bad wolves starts later to add to the suspense. The event supports the Boys & Girls Club of Harford County, and pets are welcome for a small registration fee.
