The Cascade Express Marathon & Half Marathon in North Bend offers some of the fastest courses in the country, known for scenic downhill running with views of the Cascade Mountains. On September 11, 2027, the marathon (26.2 miles / 42.2 km) starts at 7:00 a.m. and the half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) at 7:30 a.m.

With a significant net downhill, the marathon is one of the leading Boston Marathon qualifiers. The half marathon includes a one-of-a-kind run through the Snoqualmie Tunnel. Runners follow a gravel trail and receive a custom medal, a technical T-shirt and a post-race food bag. Both races are USATF-certified.
