The Cane Creek Mtn Trail Run in Snow Camp, North Carolina, offers a trail half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) and a 10K (6.2 miles) on September 11, 2027. The half marathon starts at 8:30 a.m. and the 10K at 9:00 a.m.

Both races follow a really great singletrack course and finish with a climb up the stairs to the top of the 80-foot (24 m) observation tower, which gives an incredible view from the highest peak in North Carolina east of Greensboro. Cane Creek Mountain Natural Area is a park of nearly 1,000 acres (400 hectares) in Snow Camp, in Alamance County, within easy driving distance of Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh, Burlington, Greensboro and Winston-Salem.
