The Cancer Care 5k Fun Run/ Walk is a 5K run/walk in the scenic town of Elkton, in Todd County, held on October 9, 2027. The 5K and a 1-mile walk both start at 9:00 a.m.

Athletes of all backgrounds are invited to run for a good cause under the banner "Walking Miles for Hope & Smiles." Every stride on the course supports vital cancer initiatives benefiting the Sunshine Respite House and Monie's Club Day Center. The day is all about sportsmanship, camaraderie and commitment, with every mile helping to make a difference.
