About

The Canal Path Classic offers a 10K (6.2 miles) run and a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk in Mohawk on August 28, 2027, both starting at 8:30 a.m. Hosted at Fort Herkimer Church by the Mohawk Youth and Family Center, the event follows the Erie Canalway Trail.

Participants receive a commemorative T-shirt, and awards go to the top three men and women in each race, along with youth prizes in the walk and run. Proceeds benefit the Mohawk Youth and Family Center.
