The Burton Creek Trail Run tests your endurance and trail skills on a network of rolling singletrack in Burton Creek State Park, near Tahoe City, California, on June 27, 2027. Runners choose a 6K (3.7 miles), a 12K (7.5 miles) or a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km).

Miles of winding trails lead through High Sierra pine forest and meadows, with climbs and natural obstacles shaped by runoff from the Mount Watson watershed as the course heads toward Lake Tahoe. The half marathon starts at 7:30 a.m., the 12K and 6K at 8:30 a.m. The Burton Creek half is recognized as one of the best trail half marathons in the Lake Tahoe region, a must for serious athletes looking for scenic, challenging terrain.
