The Build-N-Athlete 10K, 5K, & Kids Fun Run takes place at the Blakely Borough Recreational Complex in Blakely on May 30, 2027, with competitive races along the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail: a 10K (6.2 miles) and a 5K (3.1 miles) at 8:30 a.m., plus a 1.3-mile (2.1 km) Fun Walk at the same time and a Kid's Run at 10 a.m.

The event supports youth sports by removing financial barriers for young athletes. Awards go to the top finishers, and other family activities are on offer throughout the day.
