About

The Buck Creek Streak 5K Trail Run is an annual trail run/walk at Carolina Foothills Resort in Chesnee, where everyone can run it their way. On June 12, 2027, at 8:30 a.m., participants choose between a 5K (3.1 miles) and a 4.5-mile (7.3 km) race known as the Mike Ward Challenge.

The professionally timed race honors Mike Ward, a longtime member of the resort, and awards go to the top finishers. Registration includes a T-shirt, lunch and a day pass to the resort, with an extra fee for non-runners. When the field fills up, a waitlist is available for any spots that open up.
