About

The Briar Chase Cross 5k-ish puts your stamina to the test at Wayne Grube Memorial Park in Northampton, Pennsylvania (Bushkill Township), on March 4, 2027, with the 5K (3.1 miles) starting at 6:00 p.m. This off-road course challenges both runners and cyclists on mixed terrain combining grass, dirt and park trails, built for speed on foot or by bike.

Runners complete two laps per session, and the direction of the course changes every week, so you have to adapt your strategy. Cyclists take on a five-lap, cyclocross-style race on the same circuit; all levels and all types of bikes are welcome. Headlamps or bike lights are mandatory for the 7 p.m. start.

After the race, refuel with food off the grill, with free drinks for athletes 21 and over. The course is USATF certified.
