Brew City Run

Brew City Run takes place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on April 17, 2027, with a wide spread of distances running from the 5K (3.1 miles) up to the full marathon (26.2 miles), by way of a 10K (6.2 miles) and the half marathon (13.1 miles). The course goes through the city streets, giving an urban tour of Milwaukee with sections close to Lake Michigan.

That range means the same morning serves an occasional runner aiming at a 5K and a seasoned marathoner. For the marathon, a mid-April date puts the long runs squarely in the cold months, so plan a 16-week build and treat the weekly long run as non-negotiable. Lakefront sections can be breezy, which is a good reason to run the early miles by effort rather than by watch.
