About

The Break the Ice 5K and Frosty Dash takes place in South Haven on January 30, 2027, with a 5K run and a 5K walk, both starting at 10 a.m., plus the Frosty Dash for kids. The event supports the South Haven Public Schools cross-country teams.

Runners and walkers have separate results and awards, with award categories covering several age groups, and BIGGBY Coffee provides hot drinks at the finish. The scenic course is chip-timed, and race-day photos are taken by Radiant Landscapes. Proceeds go to the South Haven athletic department.
