About

The BRA Run Los Angeles is an endurance event in Los Angeles combining running and cycling, with a 13K, a 5K, a kids' 1K, a 14-mile (22.5 km) bike ride and bike-plus-run combinations. It takes place on August 29, 2027: the bike options start at 7:10 a.m., the 13K at 8:10 a.m., the 5K at 8:15 a.m. and the kids' 1K at 9:45 a.m.

The races are timed, with age-group awards. Participants are encouraged to wear creative costumes, and contests reward the best-decorated bras and team outfits. The event raises funds for Evelyn's Breast Friends Forever, a charity that supports breast cancer survivors with counseling and reconstruction services. Virtual participation is available, with race materials sent by mail. The BRA Run is part of the Beach to City Challenge, which awards a bonus medal to those who complete both this event and the Screenland 5K. It aims to raise awareness of breast cancer and promote community support.
