Bold Coast Bash Trail Race

Bold Coast Bash Trail Race takes place in Cutler, Maine, on November 8, 2026, organized by the Bold Coast Runners. The event offers two trail formats: a 50K Ultra (31 miles) and a 10.5 Mile Fun Run, both on the coastal trails of Down East Maine at the tail end of the season.

Coastal trail in Maine means roots, rocks and wet ground, so even the 10.5-mile fun run deserves respect and a good pair of trail shoes. That shorter format is ideal if you want to enjoy the scenery without a huge time commitment, while the 50K is a solid late-fall ultra for runners who have already logged a trail marathon. Train on technical ground whenever you can, work on your ankle stability, and for the 50K, finish a 16-week build with long runs of up to five hours on similar terrain. Layer for cold, damp conditions.
