Blue Sky Trail Marathon & Half Marathon

The Blue Sky Trail Marathon & Half is the only trail marathon based in Fort Collins, running between Horsetooth Mountain Park and Devil's Backbone Open Space in Colorado's northern Front Range. The race welcomes both experienced trail runners and newcomers, with a course that's entirely off pavement and covers a mix of terrain, from smooth singletrack to technical rocky sections. A short stretch follows a smooth dirt road and a gravel path, but most of the route crosses hard-packed red rock. Finishers wind down with a laid-back post-race barbecue and sponsor giveaways, rounding out a memorable day on the trails.
