Blackbeard's Revenge 100 Ultra & Relay is held in Corolla, North Carolina, on March 20, 2027. Three formats share the day: the 100 Mile solo and the 100 Mile Relay both go off at 5:30 a.m., and the 100K (62 miles) starts later, at 10:00 a.m. The staggered starts mean solo runners and relay teams are on course together through the middle of the day.

Ultra distances like these ask for a long runway. If the 100 miler is your target, plan on months of high-volume work with back-to-back long runs on the weekends, plus night running so the small hours feel familiar, and rehearse your fueling and shoe changes before race week. The 100K is the more approachable step up if you have a 50-miler behind you. The relay is the low-commitment way in: you split the distance with teammates, so a solid base and some practice running tired legs on repeat legs will carry you through.
