About

The Billy Goat Mountain Climb takes place in Corona, California, in early April, in the Cleveland National Forest near Silverado. It is a demanding trail race with three courses, all with significant elevation gain: a 10K (6.2 miles), a half marathon (13.1 miles) and the Silverado Loop (17 miles), which is a local favorite for its intensity. All start at 8:00 a.m.

The start and finish are beside the creek on Maple Springs Road, near Lost Woman Canyon. Aid stations offer water, electrolytes and light snacks. Each participant receives a race shirt, a medal and refreshments afterward, and the top three overall finishers earn special awards. California trails can be dry and exposed in April, so bring sun protection and carry enough fluids on the long loop.
