The Bigelow Tea Community Challenge is a charity race that Bigelow Tea created in 1988 and has organized ever since. It starts and finishes at the Wakeman Boys and Girls Club in Southport, the historic district of the town of Fairfield, Connecticut. The 39th running was held on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
The lineup includes a 5K run, a 3K walk and a kids' fun run. Every registrant gets a T-shirt, a goodie bag and a raffle ticket, and the top three runners in each age group win prizes. Proceeds go to nonprofits across Fairfield County, which received more than $180,000 in 2025.
