Beer City Half™ San Diego

Beer City Half San Diego is held at Tecolote Shores on Mission Bay in San Diego, California, on March 13, 2027. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 7:00 a.m., the 10K at 8:15 a.m. and the 5K at 8:45 a.m., followed by a one-mile Beer Stroll at 9:00 a.m. and the Beat the Beast Beer Mile at 11:00 a.m.

Bayfront running and San Diego's craft beer culture are the two ingredients here, and the schedule is built so you can race in the morning and stay for the celebration. The half is the real athletic test of the day and deserves a 12-week build with a weekly long run; the 10K and 5K fit runners who want a shorter effort before the local brews come out. The Beer Mile is its own kind of challenge entirely.
