Be The Light 5K

The Be The Light 5K is an evening 5K and 10K in Santa Clarita, held on the scenic San Francisquito Creek trails in Valencia, California, on September 25, 2027. Both distances start at 6:00 p.m. on a flat, fast loop designed for runners and walkers of all levels, with 10K participants covering the loop twice.

The course starts at the paseo entrance at West Creek Park, heads down toward Decoro Dr, then back up toward Copper Hill Dr before returning to the finish. Runners hit the trail as the sun goes down, surrounded by bright lights and fellow participants decked out in glow bands, LEDs and neon gear. Water and electrolytes are available at the aid station, and every finisher takes home a one-of-a-kind medal designed for the event.
