About

The Be Happy Road Race in Ellington, Connecticut, raises money for cancer research with a 10K (6.2 miles), a 5K run/walk and a kids' 1K fun run. It takes place on August 29, 2027: the kids' run starts at 7:30 a.m., and the 10K and 5K at 8:00 a.m.

The races are chip-timed, with awards for top finishers and by age group. Organized by Team Be Happy and the Lindsay's Legacy Foundation, the event donates all registration fees to cancer research initiatives. A virtual option is also available for those who prefer to run at their own pace.
