About

The Battle Creek Half Marathon and 5k is the city's only half marathon event, offering a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) at 7:00 a.m. and a 5K (3.1 miles) at 7:15 a.m. on July 4, 2027. The start is at Territorial Brewing Company in Springfield.

The course crosses the Field of Flight grounds, with views of the planes and festival activities, then continues along the scenic streets and boulevards of Battle Creek for a relatively flat run. Participation is capped because race merchandise has to be ordered in advance, and the event usually sells out, so early registration is recommended.
