Band on the Run is a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk at Kettering Fairmont High School in Kettering on May 30, 2027, starting at 10 a.m. The event supports the school's music programs.

Participants choose their own pace, whether walking, jogging or running, while helping fund essentials such as instrument maintenance, uniforms and travel for nearly 800 student musicians and color guard members. After the race, participants can refuel at the food trucks and local vendor booths and meet the local fitness community.
