About

The Baker's Dozen Half Marathon takes place at Minnewaska State Park Preserve in Wawarsing, New York, in mid-April. The 13.1-mile trail race starts at 10:30 AM and uses the park's beautifully maintained carriage roads, well suited to off-road running. Participants receive a custom long-sleeve shirt, a commemorative medal, extra prizes, a box of pastries and access to aid stations. A portion of each registration fee goes to Minnewaska State Park. Because the carriage roads are broad and well graded, this is a friendly way for road runners to try something off the pavement, though the Hudson Valley hills still add up.
