About

The Badger Challenge in Madison, Wisconsin, combines running, walking and bike rides on September 26, 2027, raising funds for cancer research and patient care at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and the UW Carbone Cancer Center. Runners can choose a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) at 8:15 a.m. or a 5K (3.1 miles) at 12:30 p.m., with a 5K walk at 12:45 p.m.; cyclists have 100-mile, 100K, 50K, 25K and 5K routes.

The event rallies community support to foster the scientific collaboration and discoveries that raise cancer cure rates and reduce the disease's impact on future generations. All funds raised by participants go toward this mission.
