The Back 2 School 5k Color Run in Greensboro is a colorful 5K (3.1 miles) for all ages and abilities, held on August 21, 2027, with a 10:00 a.m. start.

Participants pass through color stations where they are showered with nontoxic powder, adding to the party atmosphere. The race is timed for those who want to compete, but everyone is free to run, walk or dance to the finish. After the race, there is music, photo opportunities and a finish-line party.
