The Mother’s Day Weekend Autism Awareness 5k -10K Run/Walk takes place at Hansen Dam in Los Angeles on May 8, 2027, with the 10K (6.2 miles) starting at 8:00 a.m. and the 5K at 8:15 a.m. It supports people with autism and other developmental disabilities, promoting inclusion and raising funds for related programs.

Participants will receive medals, race T-shirts and more, awards will go to the top finishers, and virtual participants will receive their items by mail. The event is organized by PACE RUN for a Cause, a Southern California nonprofit, with extra activities including a DJ and family entertainment.
