ATW Bedford Half Marathon & 10k

The ATW Bedford Half Marathon & 10k takes place on 21 February 2027 at Russell Park in Bedford, Bedfordshire. Two road races share the same 9am start: the 21.1 km half marathon and the 10k. Elevation details have not been published for either course.

With a shared start, runners from both races mix over the first few kilometres: those running the 10k tend to set off faster, and it is easy to get carried along when you have a half marathon to finish. Setting your pace in advance and sticking to it, despite being overtaken in the opening minutes, is the main thing to watch here. In terms of the calendar, a half marathon in late February fits well into an April marathon build-up, as a solid long run rather than a goal race.
