The Apple Harvest Run takes place among the scenic apple and cherry orchards of Santaquin, Utah, on October 2, 2027, with a 10K (6.2 miles) at 8 a.m., a 5K (3.1 miles) at 8:30 a.m. and a 1-mile (1.6 km) run at 8:45 a.m. Participants run on dirt paths and can enjoy a range of fall-themed activities after the race, including a hayride, a corn maze, zip lines, trampolines, apple cannons and a pumpkin patch.

The event is part of the Rowley's Red Barn fall festival and offers treats such as apple cider donuts and slushes. The registration fee covers the race, T-shirt, medal, timing and bib, but additional activities and treats cost extra. It is a fall event much loved by Utah families.
