The Alzheimer's Charity Race 5k/1 Mile Walk presented by Albemarle Rotary Club takes place in Albemarle on June 12, 2027, with a 5K run/walk and a 1-mile fun walk/run, both starting at 8:00 a.m. Billed as the Race to Remember, it raises money for Alzheimer's research through the Rotary Club's CART Bucket program.

The race starts and finishes near the YMCA pavilion, with parking around Y Park and nearby areas. All entry fees go to Alzheimer's research.
