Alabama State Games 5K

The Alabama State Games 5K is a chip-timed race at Lake Ed Lisenby in Ozark, Alabama, on June 12, 2027, at 7:00 a.m., held as part of the state's largest multisport festival. Runners of all ages and abilities are welcome.

Awards go to the top overall male and female finishers and in five-year age groups, with gold, silver and bronze medals in each category, and the race also serves as a qualifier for the State Games of America. Bibs must be worn visibly for official timing, and safety rules apply: pets must be leashed and strollers must start at the back. All profits go to the ASF Foundation, which organizes the Games and promotes athletics, academics and healthy living across the state.
