The Aging in Community, New Salem 5K takes place in New Salem, in Morton County, on July 10, 2027, starting at 9 a.m. Participants can run or walk a scenic 5K (3.1 miles) course that starts at the Metropolitan Hotel.
The iconic Salem Sue cheers participants on, and the event ends with a street party on Main Street. Proceeds go to New Salem Hunger Relief, a food pantry working to improve quality of life for older adults in rural North Dakota.
