About
The Age-Graded 4-Miler is a 4-mile (6.4 km) race in Bethesda on August 1, 2027, starting at 8:00 a.m. Its defining feature is staggered starts based on each runner's sex and age, set using national age-group records.
The aim is to create a level playing field so that runners finish as close together as possible. The winner is simply the first person across the finish line, whatever their official time.
