About

The 9/11 Heroes Run - San Antonio, TX takes place in San Antonio, Texas, on September 11, 2027, with an early 7:00 a.m. start. There are two options, a 5K (3.1 miles) and a 1-mile (1.6 km) race, both open to runners and walkers, solo or with family.

The event is commemorative before it is competitive: it honors the heroes of 9/11 along with veterans, service members, first responders and the families of the fallen, and offers a rucking division with GORUCK, rewarded with a patch. The mile makes a good first race for a child or a beginner, and the 5K is within reach for anyone who runs once or twice a week.
