About

The 9/11 Commemorative 5K Run/Walk is held each year by the City of Graham in memory of the victims of September 11. The 2027 edition is on September 11, with the 5K (3.1 miles) at 8:30 a.m. and a separate 1-mile (1.6 km) fun run at 8:40 a.m. for those who prefer a shorter distance.

The race starts and finishes at the Graham Police Department. Medals are awarded across age groups, and first responders can enter the First Responders Team Cup, which requires teams of at least three; the fastest teams receive medals. Registration is open to everyone.
