The 5.56K Run/Ruck, billed as the ASF 5.56K Ruck, is an endurance event put on by the Alabama SWAT Foundation at Brocks Gap Brewing Company in Hoover on March 6, 2027, starting at 5:45 p.m. over about 3.5 miles (5.56 km).

There are several divisions, including Regular, Heavy and Team Heavy, with specific weight requirements for some participants. Open to ages 10 and up, the event goes ahead rain or shine, and a headlamp is required for the night run. Founded by SWAT officers, the foundation works to advance law enforcement training and skills, and proceeds support SWAT training initiatives in Alabama.
