1/2 Sauer 1/2 Kraut

1/2 Sauer 1/2 Kraut is held on June 5, 2027, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Two distances are offered: the half marathon (13.1 mi) and the marathon (26.2 mi), on a course through the centre of the city. Start times and elevation gain are not listed in our records.

An early-June marathon in Philadelphia means humidity is the variable to plan around, not the profile: the city is close to sea level and the streets hold heat once the sun is up. Start at the pace you intend to finish at, take fluid from the first station, and remember that a marathon run in warm conditions is worth several minutes more than the clock suggests.
