Zombie Zoom - Halloween 5K

Zombie Zoom - Halloween 5K is held in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, on October 31, 2026. Both formats start together at 9 a.m.: an untimed one-mile walk and a timed 5K, so groups with mixed abilities can take part side by side.

Having an untimed walk alongside the run removes most of the barriers to entry, since nobody is chasing a clock unless they want to. For the 5K itself, the honest approach is to run the first mile a touch conservatively and spend whatever is left over the final half mile. Preparation does not need to be elaborate: three or four runs a week for a month, one of them slightly faster than comfortable, covers it. Since both formats leave at the same time, plan where to meet afterwards before you set off.
