Run for Angels - GA

Run for Angels is held in Newnan, Georgia, on February 6, 2027, in support of The Angels House. A one-mile fun run starts at 8:00 a.m., and the 5K (3.1 miles) and 10K (6.2 miles) both set off at 8:30 a.m.

Two distances from a single start line give you a decision to make on the day. The 10K is the more honest test of endurance and needs a base of regular running, three or four times a week, with one longer effort of five miles or more. The 5K is the better option if you have been training inconsistently through the winter, and it still leaves you fresh enough to cheer the 10K runners home. The one-mile fun run, half an hour earlier, is there for children and first-timers.
