River Ranch Resolution Run

River Ranch Resolution Run is a trail event in Liberty Hill, Texas, on January 9, 2027. Everything starts at 8:30 a.m.: the 50K (31 miles), the trail marathon (26.2 miles), the half marathon (13.1 miles), the 10K, the 5K and a one-mile youth run for ages 12 and under. Six distances on a single gun make for a busy opening mile and a field that thins quickly as the shorter races peel away.

Trail distances do not translate from the road, so choose by time on feet rather than by the number on the entry: a trail marathon takes longer than your road 26.2, and the 50K longer still. Preparation should include long runs on unpaved ground and a hydration setup you can manage without stopping. With a youth mile on the same start, this also works as a family day out, parents on the long courses and kids running once.
