Naked Nick

Naked Nick is held in Leesport, Pennsylvania, on December 13, 2026, organized by Uber Endurance Sports. Two trail distances start together at 8:00 AM: a 50K (31 miles) and a 25K (15.5 miles). With both fields leaving at once, the 25K runners set the early pace and the 50K field has to resist being pulled along faster than planned.

Mid-December in eastern Pennsylvania means cold starts, possible frozen ground and short daylight, so the 8:00 AM start leaves comfortable margin for both distances. The 25K is a realistic goal for a runner whose longest effort is a half marathon, needing perhaps ten weeks of preparation. The 50K asks for more: a long run reaching 20 miles, a couple of sessions on cold-weather footing, and gloves and a hat you can shed once you warm up.
